Derogation and curfew: here is the new reason to go out after 6 p.m.


Since Monday March 15, there is a new derogatory reason for going out during curfew: going to a legal professional. In other words, you can see your lawyer or your notary after 6 p.m.

Present an exceptional travel certificate to go out during the curfew

Since January 6, 2021, a curfew has applied from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. in mainland France. To travel in the evening and at night, it is therefore necessary to provide an exceptional travel certificate. Otherwise, thewe risk a fine of 135 € which can be increased to 375 € in the event of non-payment or non-dispute within the time limit indicated on the notice of violation.

Not enough to make you want to go out for no real good reason. And as such, a new pattern has been authorized since March 15, 2021. This new exemption was published in the Official newspaper on March 5 and concerns legal professionals.

New reason for going out after 6 p.m.: going to a notary or a lawyer

Lawyer, notary, bailiff, judicial auctioneer, clerk … It is now possible to meet them after 6 p.m. All you have to do is check the box “judicial or administrative summons”.

This new derogatory reason completes an increasingly long list. Take the dog out, pick up your child from daycare, buy medicine, visit grandma, participate in a marauding, go to the police station, come home from work, take a long trip … What if there were a lot of good reasons to go out after 6 p.m.?
