In video: The spectacular landing of a plane between the snow and the ice at the Barajas airport

This Tuesday Aena registered 200 operations (departures and arrivals) at the airport Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas. One of those arrivals was recorded on video by the Iberia pilot Jordi Sánchez López, and later broadcast on Twitter in the Air Traffic Control account.

The completely white and icy landscape around the airport, seen from the air, has something cinematic, improbable fiction. And yet, as we know, it is reality.

The plane finally takes runway 32L of the airport and heads to the parking area, which allows us to make the entire route from the air to the final stop.

The minimum temperature yesterday at Barajas airport, according to Aena, was -13.2º, the third minor since there are records (1945). On January 16 of that year, a minimum of -15.2º was recorded. And on February 5, 1963, of -14.8º.
