The US administration on December 18 imposed new Venezuelan sanctions on two individuals and a company.

The move shows that Washington continues to increase pressure on President Nicolas Maduro even as President Donald Trump’s term is nearing the end.

According to information on the US Treasury Department’s website, Washington listed Ex-Cle Soluciones Biometricas CA and two individuals – including Marcos Javier Machado Requena, who Venezuela and Guillermo Carlos San Agustin, a citizen of both Argentina and Italy – on the blacklist.

On the same day, the White House announced that President Trump had signed a bill that would prevent Chinese companies from operating on US stock exchanges.

The bill just issued above prohibits foreign companies from listing on US stock exchanges if they fail to meet the audit requirements for 3 consecutive years./.
